Meet the marketing people behind My Marketing Person...
David worked in sales for major publishing companies in the UK/Europe/Middle East, and then led an award winning team as business development manager for a London based printing company, later seconded to a small team setting up an early web based printing service. Moving to Australia in 2000 he worked in the internet startup sector, then with a healthcare franchise where he generated over $1.2M in franchise sales using a combination of traditional and online sales, marketing and PR strategies.
Since then David has worked with many clients, from startups to SMEs to large corporates, helping them devise and execute successful sales, marketing and PR campaigns (extensive media coverage generated for clients has included several peak period national TV and radio spots as well as print and online coverage).
He has also worked as a digital marketing consultant with the government funded Small Business Advisory Service and speaks regularly on marketing and PR at business events and meetings, most recently at Griffith University and at the Brisbane Click! Digital conference (see Programs section if you would like to book David to speak at your event).
He also has a keen interest in helping groups of retailers in high street/main street locations drive foot traffic and has over five years experience in this field.

Anna has worked as a journalist, bureau chief, academic and public relations consultant and has won many awards in these roles. She has written for National Business Review (NZ), The Australian Financial Review and The Economist and has worked in radio and TV (National Radio News in Australia and TVNZ’s Eye Witness program).
As a public relations consultant she has worked for large corporations, industry peak bodies and government departments.
Anna founded the Sunshine Coast Mentoring Service, which has helped more than 400 companies.

Martin has over 25 years of corporate experience at senior management and executive level in the health and retail sectors.
Since 2012, his experience and knowledge is being used proactively as a business advisor/mentor working with SMEs. This has included working as an advisor and consultant for a Federal Government supported scheme (GBSBAS). He also facilitates a number of training workshops with Small Business Solutions (where attendees earn a TAFE accredited certificate).
His expertise and passion for developing strategy, team development and leadership is supported by numerous examples of his personal achievements. This has included being a finalist in the Retailer of Year Award in South Australia. Martin has a number of qualifications that complement his professional experience.
