As the program name implies, this involves the My Marketing Person team helping you to produce written content and share this content with your list via email on a regular basis. Email marketing is an incredibly powerful marketing tool (if not the most effective currently). And creating fresh new content on a regular basis on your website is the best way of engaging your customers and potential customers, and helps significantly with SEO as well.
What is involved...
1) We work with you to determine the topic of the content. This can be for example...
- client interview/case study
- industry developments
- opinion piece
- team member profile
2) Our team then writes a draft article (generally ~500 words) for you to review.
3) Once you have approved this we load it up to your website/blog with an appropriate image and any links. We then double check that everything is working as it should be.
4) We work with you to draft the text of the email. We can also help with design, although very generally we recommend a fairly simple design - experience shows that the less this type of email looks like a formal 'newsletter', the better, The article is also linked to from the email - leading people who open this to your site.
5) A test email is sent to you for final approval, after we have tested that all the links/images etc are working as they should. When this is approved we - or you - hit the send button.
My Marketing Person can also help with other email marketing related issues eg list building, subject line selection, list segmentation, autoresponders and autoresponder sequences.
The price is per send and includes GST. Best practice for email and content marketing is to stay in touch via email with your list at least once a month.
